Join harpists from around Eastern Iowa for a day of making music together! Registration and music now available here.
When: Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.*
Where: Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, University of Northern Iowa (8201 Dakota St., Cedar Falls)
Who: Open to harpists of all ages and levels from around Eastern Iowa and beyond. Chapter membership not required.
Cost: $10 per participant [$20 maximum per family] There is no cost for family members to attend and observe.
Harp Day is all about harpists playing together! Participants register to be part of either the beginner/intermediate harp ensemble or the intermediate/advanced harp ensemble. Additionally, all participants will play together in a mass harp ensemble. The day concludes with a late afternoon concert of music rehearsed during Harp Day, ​plus performances by smaller, pre-rehearsed harp ensembles. Music should be purchased, downloaded, and prepared before the event (see below.)
