Chapter Resources

Are you looking for event ideas for your chapter?  The AHS has some great programs to assist you.

Inspire your members with performances by fabulous young harpists.  Two programs offer financial assistance to local chapters hosting winners of the AHS National Competition.  The AHS Concert Artists Program provides assistance to present the winner of the Young Professional Division; the Winners Outreach Program helps present regional winners of the remaining divisions.  Follow the links to learn more about these programs.

Looking for a way to nurture local harp students?  Take advantage of the Auditions and Evaluations Program.   Students perform for each other in front of an advisor, who gives helpful suggestions.  Approximately one month later, participants show their improvement by playing again.  Help is available to chapters who need financial assistance to participate in this program.

If your members were unable to attend the National Conference or Summer Institute, the AHS Lending Library contains archive-quality recordings (both audio and audio-visual) of workshops and recitals from past American Harp Society conferences.  Borrow one of these recordings to view with your chapter.

Need assistance in recruiting members or preparing programs?  Downloadable brochures are available below, as well as blank templates for programs.

Browse through the Regional Newsletters to see the innovative and exciting concerts, workshops, and programs sponsored by chapters across the country.  Use them as a springboard to create fabulous events with your chapter!
