2021 National Competition Update
The American Harp Society 24th National Competition scheduled for June 2021 WILL take place. We are continually monitoring the progress and setbacks that make up the Covid-19 pandemic. Our priority in making a decision to continue with a live event or to move this competition to an online platform is the safety and well-being of our membership, competition finalists, our judges and competition administration. Any changes made to the competition schedule will be announced on the AHS website, on the AHS social media platforms, and to the membership at large no later than May 1st, 2021.
2021 National Conference Rescheduled to 2024
It is with a heavy heart but operating from the position of an abundance of caution that the AHS Board of Directors has decided to once again postpone an in-person event for the AHS for the summer of 2021. The 44th National Conference, originally scheduled for June of 2020 and rescheduled for June of 2021, is now officially the AHS 45th National Conference, scheduled for June 16-19, 2024 in Orlando, Florida.
For the summer of 2021 the AHS will bring a series of online workshops and performance opportunities focusing on the outstanding programming available to AHS chapters and individual members. The NOW 44th National Conference is scheduled for June of 2022 in the stunning Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
