A. ASTA
(liaison) - to provide communication and coordinate activities
between the AHS and ASTA on both local and national levels.
B. Education Advisory
- To research and recommend new educational ideas and opportunities
for students, teachers and the membership.
C. Harp Literature - to promote the creation of new
harp music, ensuring the presentation of this new music at a conference,
searching for and rediscovering harp music of the past, and encouraging
republication of old harp music.
D. Music Education Auditions - to design, promote and administer the program
Auditions and Evaluations. This valuable program provides an opportunity
for all harp students who are national members of the AHS to participate
in a learning, noncompetitive performing experience.
E. National Federation
of Music Clubs (liaison) - to provide liaison with this
charitable organization, chartered in 1898, whose purpose is to
encourage American music and musicians.
F. World
Harp Congress (liaison) - to promote and support
the performing arts in general and in particular to promote and
support the composition, performance, teaching, studying and appreciation
of the harp worldwide
